Mural paintings
In 1968, Brande became the talk of Denmark, despite only having around 5,000 inhabitants at the time. In that year, a number of recognised, Danish artists were invited to create murals around the city.

Alice in Wonderland, 2016
This gable painting is made by the artists Vera Bugatti (Italy) and Carlos Alberto Hernandez (Mexico) and was revealed on July 1st 2016, as the opening of the Street Art Festival in Brande 2016. The piece is truly incredible and builds on the world famous fairy tale "Alice in Wonderland".
