Ice Hockey World Championships
Herning has twice co-hosted the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship – first in 2018 and most recently in 2025. In May 2025, the city hosted 30 matches including two quarterfinals at Jyske Bank Boxen, drawing thousands of fans and creating a fantastic atmosphere.

Equestrian Events
