Herning Welcomes the Return of Swan Lake

Breathtaking ballet, stunning costumes, and beautiful music come together to tell the captivating love story of the cursed swan princess, when the world-famous ballet Swan Lake returns to MCH Herning Congress Center on Wednesday, 28 January 2026.

Under the artistic direction of Rimma Wachsmann, The Grand Ukrainian Ballet combines the finest in classical ballet with talented Ukrainian dancers and soloists. Pyotr Tchaikovsky composed this romantic masterpiece in 1877, and both the music and the composer’s original vision have been preserved. When Tchaikovsky’s music meets the ballet’s movement, the interplay can express everything from love and longing to loneliness and joy – all without a single spoken word.
