Ruinerne | Deep Forest Art Land
July 24–25, 2026. Experience The Ruins at Deep Forest Art Land – a free outdoor musical performance where song, music and movement tell a story of community, hope and an unknown future.

The Ruins premieres at Deep Forest Art Land and is performed outdoors in Dybet, a natural woodland ravine. Surrounded by a stage design of scaffolding and ruins, the landscape becomes an active part of this immersive performance.
Audiences meet four distinctive characters – Blomme, Court, Kat and Donna – who have sought refuge among the ruins. Through song, music and movement, they attempt to build a new community and imagine a future together.
Blending musical theatre, role-playing, folk music and electronic music, The Ruins was developed through Deep Forest Art Land's programme for emerging contemporary artists. The performance lasts approximately 55 minutes, is performed in Danish and is free of charge. Performances take place on July 24 and 25 at 2:00 pm, followed by a post-show talk with Filip Vest and Kai Merke.
