Topping-Out Ceremony – This Year's Summer Opening | Deep Forest Art Land

Rejsegilde marks the summer opening at Deep Forest Art Land and the launch of the first exhibition in the Sculpture Graveyard. Twenty artworks by Danish contemporary artists are given a new chapter as they become part of the forest landscape.

Rather than remaining unchanged, the artworks are allowed to evolve with the seasons. Rain, wind and natural growth gradually shape each piece, creating an ongoing dialogue between art and nature.

Traditionally, a rejsegilde celebrates the beginning of a structure that is still taking shape. Likewise, the Sculpture Graveyard is an evolving place where new artworks are added over time and the landscape becomes an active participant in the artistic experience.
