World Bridge Championships 2025

20 August – 31 August 2025.

At the end of August 2025, the world's best bridge players will gather in Herning, as the city hosts the World Bridge Championships. Over 90 nations are represented, and the competition takes place in four categories: Open, Women, Seniors, and Mixed.

In each category, 24 countries participate, starting with an intense round-robin tournament with matches of 14 boards. The top teams then advance to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the exciting final.

Bridge is a strategic card game involving speed, finesse, and strong teamwork – and during the championships, you can experience the intense atmosphere up close as Herning transforms into an international hub for top-level card play.
