Lomme Ulrik visits Klosterlund Museum
April 1 - June 1, 2025.
Klosterlund Museum opens for the season and has a special visitor—a troll!
Thomas Dambo’s troll, Lomme Ulrik, has landed in the museum’s café. He’s ready to greet you and will be especially happy if you empty your pockets of lint. That’s because Lomme Ulrik’s mission is to travel around Denmark collecting enough pocket lint to make a sweater.
Lomme Ulrik’s ‘father’ is artist Thomas Dambo, known for his giant trolls made from recycled wood, which are hidden in nature. In recent years, troll hunting has become increasingly popular, with these fascinating hidden giants now found in 20 countries across five continents.
Lomme Ulrik can be visited for free from April 1 to June 1. Regular admission applies for access to the museum’s exhibitions.
Klosterlund Museum is open Tuesday-Thursday & Saturday-Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM starting April 1.
