Saturday, October 25 – Sunday, October 26, 2026

Get up close to 5,000 animals at the National Livestock Exhibition in MCH.

Families as well as professionals can look forward to a great experience on the last weekend of October, when MCH Messecenter Herning is transformed into a mini-zoo filled with hens and canaries in many colors and breeds, along with geese, ducks, rabbits, and much more.

Clucking, chirping, cooing, and quacking – these are just some of the animal sounds awaiting visitors at MCH Messecenter Herning on October 25–26. The halls will be buzzing with the National Exhibition for Purebred Poultry and Pigeons, where hobby breeders from across the country showcase their animals. Visitors can expect to see around 2,500 hens, bantams, geese, ducks, and turkeys, about 1,600 pigeons, 600–800 canaries, and 100 rabbits. In short, it is Denmark’s largest exhibition of its kind.

A diverse experience for everyone – and a perfect outing for the whole family.

Extend the experience.

Make an evening of it with dinner at one of the city’s great restaurants, and round off the experience with an overnight stay at one of Herning’s comfortable hotels.
