Højhuset in Birk, Herning is a protected historical building and an exciting place for art, culture, farming and dining. When ECCO FEI World Championships pay a visit to Herning from August 4-12, Højhuset opens as a classic lunch and dinner restaurant.

In the period from 4.-12. August, when the World Cup in equestrian sports 2022 guests Herning, Højhuset opens an exciting POP UP restaurant.
Here, Martin Hylleborg, former co-owner and head chef at Restaurant Rebel, will cook as a guest chef in Højhuset's kitchen. Hylleborg is also educated at the Michelin-starred restaurant Ensemble in Copenhagen.

In the center of Højhuset you will find the Dining Room. A cozy eatery where you can get seasonal dishes based on organic and local ingredients. With our own kitchen garden and sheep in our own fold, we take the soil-to-table concept quite literally.
Højhuset cannot be put in a box. Fortunately!
On a daily basis, the Dining Room is only open to pre-ordered parties, but from time to time we open as a POP UP restaurant.
