Grand Prix Herning

Grand Prix Herning is an international one-day cycling race that each year brings together professional riders and cycling fans in Herning. The route runs through both urban and hilly terrain and finishes with the legendary final stretch on the town square, Torvet. The race is known for its gravel roads and high sporting level.

The event attracts cycling fans and sports enthusiasts from both Denmark and abroad – including both adults and families with children. Many come from the Central Jutland area, but riders and teams from all over Europe also participate. Participants and spectators make use of the city’s restaurants and accommodation options in connection with the race.
