Fan walk from the Library to Jyske Bank Boxen

Experience the Ice Hockey Celebration – Join the First Official Fan Walk.

The puck is about to drop for the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship – and with it begins a few weeks of unforgettable ice hockey festivities in Herning! We therefore invite everyone, whether you're a passionate ice hockey fan or not, to be part of the celebration as we kick off the Official Fan Walk from Herning city center to Jyske Bank Boxen.

The Fan Walk will be inaugurated on Friday, May 9 at 2:00 PM.
Festivities begin in front of Herning Library. Along the route, you can enjoy exciting pop-up events, including:

The very first glimpse of the world’s largest puck, a brand new and colorful street art tunnel, the impressive official flag alley, a treasure hunt for kids and the young at heart, and most importantly – the electric atmosphere as fans gather to celebrate the sport we love!

13:50 – Arrival at the Fan Walk portal (Herning Library)
13:55 – Grab some cool free merch
14:00 – Let’s walk! Departure towards Jyske Bank Boxen
14:15 – Experience visual highlights and surprises along the route
14:30 – Walk through the colorful Street Art Tunnel
14:45 – See the World’s Largest Puck
15:00 – Arrival at the Official Fan Zone at Jyske Bank Boxen

The route is 3.5 km long and takes around 40 minutes to walk – so bring your friends, neighbors – even your rivals – and join in on this festive first walk!
