Carsten Eskelund
16 April 2026.
Following his latest tour and the encounters with audiences, new insights have emerged, leading to the creation of a new show. Carsten Eskelund once again invites the audience to follow the winding paths rather than the straight road.
The reflections begin with an encounter with aggressive wall art at a mid-range hotel in the Triangle Region. From there, Eskelund explores human behaviour, self-deception and the paradox of acting the same way while expecting different results.
The show revolves around questions of why we keep fooling ourselves and how we move from antipathy to apathy. At the same time, something is set in motion, and the audience is invited into a universe where humour and reflection go hand in hand.
Carsten Eskelund is known as a comedian who rarely takes the obvious route, and there may well be a liberating moment waiting for the audience when he takes the stage at Fermaten.
