As tradition dictates, Danske Seniorer welcomes the new year with The Grand New Year’s Concert—a festive and uplifting afternoon filled with musical gems and sparkling energy. On 17 January 2026, three of Denmark’s most beloved and versatile performers take the stage, accompanied by the outstanding Promenade Orchestra.
A Star-Studded Lineup of Soloists
Annette Heick is a well-known entertainer with a diverse career as a singer, TV host, and actress. She has starred in several major Danish musicals, including Evita and Matador, and has also voiced numerous animated characters.
Jesper Lundgaard has been a prominent figure in Danish music since his breakthrough as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables in 1996. He has performed leading roles in musicals such as Phantom of the Opera and Jekyll & Hyde, and is celebrated for his powerful voice and captivating stage presence.
Lisbeth Kjærulff, an accomplished opera singer, is trained at both the Royal Danish Academy of Music and the Jutland Conservatory of Music. She has performed at many of Denmark’s leading opera and theatre venues, including The Royal Danish Theatre and Den Ny Opera, and has appeared in a wide range of musicals and operettas.
