At Gårdbutikken Månsson, you’ll find fresh produce and specialities straight from the farm, while Søbogaard’s farm shop offers a selection of its own organic products, including juice, jam and honey. Søbogaard has been producing its products since 1976, and today, production takes place at several locations, including Store Voldsgård outside Herning.

Just outside Brande, you’ll find Månsson – a large-scale farming and vegetable-growing operation with roots dating back to 1976. That was when Axel Månsson started out with 43 hectares of land. Today, the company cultivates around 2,100 hectares, the vast majority of which are organic.
More than 30 different types of vegetables are grown in the fields around Brande, including iceberg lettuce, little gem lettuce, onions, broccoli, cabbage, fennel and pak choi. Today, Månsson is Denmark’s largest producer of iceberg lettuce and one of the larger producers of organic vegetables and eggs in Scandinavia.
At the heart of this large-scale operation is Gårdbutikken Månsson. Here, you can get closer to the farm and buy fresh vegetables and eggs from Månsson’s own production, along with a wide range of other organic foods. The selection follows the seasons, so what’s available changes depending on what is being harvested from the fields.
