Halloween at Klosterlund Museum
October 30, 2026, from 5 pm to 8 pm, Klosterlund Museum invites families to a cosy and slightly spooky Halloween evening. Head out into the twilight together, solve tasks along the way and see whether you encounter the ghost of the old peat worker.
Halloween at Klosterlund Museum offers an atmospheric family experience as darkness settles over the forest and lake surrounding the museum.
On arrival, visitors are welcomed by the peat worker’s widow, who sends families out into the twilight. Along the way, you will work together to solve different tasks, and perhaps the ghost of the old peat worker will appear in the darkness.
After the spooky trail, there is an opportunity to enjoy some themed refreshments in the form of “bog water” and “roasted mouse brains”.
The event is primarily aimed at younger children up to around 11 years old, with tasks designed for families to solve together. The doors open at 5 pm while there is still some daylight, and the museum grows darker as the evening continues.
Bring a torch if you have one, and costumes are welcome.
