Dejlig er Jorden – Julekoncert 2026

Dejlig er jorden is a well-established Christmas concert tradition in Herning and returns to the theatre hall at MCH Herning Kongrescenter with two performances on the same day – at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

The stage brings together singers from Herning Kirkes Drengekor and MidtVest Pigekor, accompanied by an expanded Ensemble MidtVest. This year's soloist is Isabel Schwartzbach, while Jens Jacob Tychsen guides the audience through the concert's stories.

Large choral works, familiar melodies and atmospheric arrangements create a Christmas concert where music and storytelling come together. The concert is designed as an experience for the whole family and continues a long-standing Christmas tradition in Herning.

Both concerts are expected to last approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes and include an interval.
