Christmas in Birk
On November 21, 2026, Højhuset Kulturhotel invites you to Jul i Birk from 10:00 to 15:00. Enjoy a cosy day of Christmas workshops, music, shopping, mulled wine, warm drinks and activities for both children and adults.
Jul i Birk brings together several cultural institutions in Birk for a day of Christmas atmosphere, community and shared activities. Højhuset Kulturhotel joins CHPEA, HEART, Innovatorium, VIA and Ensemble MidtVest in offering creative Christmas workshops, pop-up concerts, Christmas shopping and more.
At Højhuset, visitors can join guided tours and enjoy the view and festive atmosphere from the 15th floor. Christmas table displays in the foyer offer inspiration, while the small shop provides an opportunity to find gifts including books, salt cellars and rugs.
The programme also includes a pop-up Christmas concert with Ensemble MidtVest and a fireside café serving mulled wine tastings, hot chocolate, Christmas pastry and cookies. Outside in the atrium courtyard, fire bowls and marshmallows add to the cosy atmosphere.
Families can also help create Birk’s longest Christmas garland. The aim is to make a garland stretching 15 storeys, which will later be measured by lowering it from the 15th floor of Højhuset.
