October 12-13, 2026, from 11 am to 3 pm, enjoy the autumn holiday with the whole family at Klosterlund Museum. Look forward to welcoming activities inspired by nature and history, including apple pressing, carving traditional turnip lanterns and exploring the museum together.
Autumn Holiday at Klosterlund Museum offers a cosy family day out with history, nature and creative activities at its heart.
Visit the museum’s outdoor workshops, enjoy a walk in the forest or head indoors to explore the exhibitions. Families can help make freshly pressed apple juice using the museum’s old apple press and enjoy a taste afterwards.
Autumn also brings a touch of friendly Halloween fun. Children and adults can carve traditional turnip lanterns and make spooky shrunken apple heads.
There is also plenty of time to explore Klosterlund Museum and visit the museum café. During the autumn holiday, a special bag of treats for children will be available to purchase.
