Stenholt Forest

This forest is one of the most beautiful oak forests in Jutland. It was preserved in 1988, both to keep the rare forest type and to replace conifers with oak of local origin.

Experience a classic Jutlandic oak thicket with crooked oaks of 12-15 meters height. In the spring the white anemone dominates the forest floor, in the summertime, it is the green bracken. The forest has a rich birdlife.
