Herning Opera Festival transforms Herning into a vibrant opera city with a diverse programme ranging from classical opera performances to innovative musical formats.

During the festival week, visitors can enjoy productions such as Helvedsblomsterne, Don Juan, Den korte Così and Die schöne Müllerin. Concert highlights include Operaperler, Tre Tenorer, Mageløse Mozart and the traditional closing concert.

Opera also takes to the streets with free events including Opera i Tårnet, Øl Opera, Opera i Sommernatten and morning singing sessions at Tinghuspladsen. Families and children can enjoy activities such as Maja og den magiske sofa, Spoiiinnngg! and Den Magiske Skov.

Many events are free of charge, while some require tickets or registration. Festival venues include Højhuset Kulturhotel, Herning Ny Teater, MCH Herning Congress Center, Scene7, Vestre Anlæg, Herning Church and Deep Forest Art Land.

Herning Opera Festival brings together established opera singers, emerging talents and music enthusiasts for a week filled with powerful voices, musical storytelling and experiences for all ages.
