Klosterlund Museum invites visitors on a guided storytelling tour by Bølling Lake, where participants can learn about the lake’s history from the Ice Age to the present day.

During the tour, guests will hear about the formation of the lake during the Ice Age, its period as a bog and the creation of the present-day lake. The history of Bølling Lake is a story about the relationship between people and nature, focusing on utility, aesthetics and belief.

The guide is John Juul Eriksen, a retired teacher and former local politician. He has lived in Engesvang since 1965 and shares his local knowledge and stories from the area.

The tour starts and ends at the parking area by Dværgbakken and covers approximately 0.5 kilometres. The event is suitable for wheelchair users.
