Danish Road Cycling Championships 2026

26th & 28th of June 2026.

The Danish Road Cycling Championships consist of two classic road cycling disciplines held on separate days in Herning.

Friday 26 June – Individual Time Trial
The individual time trial is a race against the clock, with riders starting one by one. The discipline focuses on power, aerodynamics and the ability to maintain a consistent pace across the entire course.

Sunday 28 June – Road Race
The road race is a mass-start event over a longer distance. Repeated laps, climbs and technical sections gradually reduce the field, leading to an intense and decisive finale.

The Danish Road Cycling Championships are a major sporting event and place Herning at the centre of Danish elite cycling.
