Dance Under the Open Sky | Deep Forest Art Land
September 5–6, 2026. Experience contemporary dance under the open sky at Deep Forest Art Land. Choose from three free performances where the forest becomes part of the stage, creating a unique meeting of movement, music and nature.
Dance Under the Open Sky brings Holstebro Teater's dance company to Deep Forest Art Land for a series of site-specific outdoor performances. Surrounded by trees, clearings and artworks, the forest becomes an integral part of the performance, creating a unique setting for contemporary dance.
Every performance is shaped by the landscape, the weather and the season, making each experience different. Audiences are invited to experience the dancers up close as movement, music and nature come together in inspiring surroundings.
The performances last approximately 30 minutes and are free of charge. Performances take place on Saturday at 3:00 pm and on Sunday at 11:00 am and 1:30 pm. Visitors meet at the Deep Forest Art Land car park, where staff will guide the audience to the performance area.
