There are plenty of places to go in Herning if you want a fun night on the town. There is a wide selection, from the young’s club in Poulsens Plads in Bredgade to the many bars and cafes in the city centre.

At Fox and Hounds, businesspeople and locals from Herning meet for a cold beer or a drink when the workday is over. If the weather is good, many choose to sit in the cosy outdoor area in the East end of the high street. In rainy weather, there is a real Scottish pub atmosphere outside. The bar is decorated with dark wood, a fireplace and screens, where big football and ice hockey matches are shown live.

Pub quiz and live music at Fox and Hounds
Do you want to challenge your friends or colleagues, or get your own team together to compete against the others? At Fox and Hounds, there are often pub quizzes on weeknights. The quiz is in English, and there are exciting prizes for the three top teams.

Whenever there are large congresses and events in the city, Fox and Hounds is a popular gathering place, and the area’s businesses also often bring clients to enjoy the informal atmosphere.

At weekends, there is a slightly younger crowd from Herning and its surrounding areas. When there is no live music on, the bar’s DJ plays hits on the decks. There are also often special events, like drink tastings. As well as the bar, there is a dance floor, a stage, roof terrace and function rooms for larger events.
