At Easter 2026, you can experience Minecraft in a whole new way when Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue opens at MCH Messecenter Herning.
Here, one of the world’s most popular video games will, for the first time in the EU, be transformed into a large, physical and interactive experience where you move around the Minecraft universe yourself – without a screen. It is not an exhibition, but an active mission where collaboration, creativity and play are at the centre.

An experience for the whole family
Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is created for children, adults, families and friends who want to experience something together. You do not need to be a gamer or know Minecraft in advance – everyone can take part, regardless of experience.
Here, generations come together in a shared experience where you solve tasks, explore worlds and work together towards a common goal.

What awaits you?
Seven interactive Minecraft rooms
The experience takes you through seven different rooms inspired by Minecraft’s iconic biomes. You move from lush green forest areas to dark and mysterious caves, where you must explore the surroundings, gather resources and work together to progress.
Rescue the villagers
The mission is clear: the village is threatened by zombies. To rescue the villagers, you must find ingredients for a vital potion, encounter both friendly and hostile creatures – such as creepers, skeletons and iron golems – and solve tasks along the way.
Interaction Orb
All participants are given an Orb of Interaction – a handheld device used to break blocks, collect resources and interact with the world around you. It offers a completely new, physical way to experience Minecraft’s familiar mechanics.
Duration and flow
The experience lasts approximately 45–60 minutes and begins at set intervals, allowing you to move through the universe in a natural flow together with other participants.
Exclusive in-game reward
After your visit, all participants receive a unique digital code granting access to an exclusive Minecraft Experience cape in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition – a digital souvenir that can be used at home.
Trading Post
Once the mission is completed, you can stop by the Trading Post, where you have the opportunity to purchase Minecraft merchandise and souvenirs as a reminder of the experience.
