Når Vinden Vender

Når Vinden Vender is an original production by Herning Ny Teater and a family drama about three generations trying to find common ground in a time of change.
Jens, Henrik and Victor meet for their annual wood-splitting tradition – a familiar ritual shaped by tradition, silence and established roles. This time, however, something is different. The three men belong to different generations, each with his own perspective on responsibility, identity, family and expectations surrounding the role of men.
The play explores what happens when established ideas about family, community and gender meet a new reality, and how people can reconnect when the distance between generations and viewpoints begins to grow.
The cast includes Bjarne Henriksen, Paw Henriksen and Thor Støvelbæk. The play is written by Thomas Markmann and directed by Simon Boberg. The performance lasts approximately 75 minutes and takes place at Herning Ny Teater, Østergade 32 in Herning. Tickets cost DKK 275.
