Hærvejsperlen Bølling Sø is a certified hiking route and part of both the Hærvejen Pearls and Denmark’s Nature Trails network. The 11.6 km circular route starts and finishes at Klosterlund Museum and takes visitors through varied scenery including lake shores, meadows, heathland and wetlands.

Along the route, visitors can explore stories about the area's natural and cultural heritage. Bølling Sø was formed after the last Ice Age, later developed into a raised bog, was drained for peat extraction and was re-established as a lake in 2005. Today, the area is known for its rich birdlife and wide-open views.

Interpretive stops along the trail invite both children and adults to discover the hidden stories of the landscape. The route combines nature, tranquillity and fascinating insights into the history of the Hærvejen area.
