Christmas at Klosterlund Museum
November 21-22, 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm, the whole family can enjoy traditional Christmas cosiness at Klosterlund Museum in Engesvang. Look forward to Christmas workshops for children, welcoming market stalls, an elf hunt in the exhibitions and the opportunity for a peaceful walk in the landscape surrounding the museum.

Christmas at Klosterlund Museum brings children and adults together for a cosy weekend filled with Christmas traditions, creativity and time together at the old peat farm.
In the museum's Christmas workshops, children can make red wax apples, Christmas decorations, wooden elves and more. Families can also explore the exhibitions while searching for hidden elves around the museum.
Visitors can browse stalls offering fir branches, Christmas decorations and gift ideas. A visit can also be combined with exploring the museum exhibitions or taking a walk through the landscape surrounding Klosterlund Museum.
The museum serves traditional Danish æbleskiver and gløgg in its cosy café area. Museum volunteers are behind many of the activities and preparations, while a selection of stallholders helps create the welcoming Christmas market atmosphere.
