Vorgod Å, Nord (Vorgod River, North)

Vorgod Å offers 14 km of fishing along both sides of the river. As a tributary of Skjern Å, the river provides good salmon fishing throughout the season, as salmon quickly settle in the river’s flowing channels.

Fresh salmon are often caught on the opening day of the season, and the fishing is especially good from midsummer onwards. The river is popular among anglers targeting large salmon with single-handed fly rods and floating lines.

However, upstream spinner fishing and wobblers are often the most effective methods in Vorgod Å. Along the river, visitors can enjoy peaceful surroundings, scenic nature and several good fishing spots close to the Skjern Å river system.
