DIF DM Week
22–28 June 2026 – Week 26.
The successful DIF DM Week, during which more than 135 Danish champions will be crowned across a wide range of different sports, will be held in Herning Municipality in 2026.
Danish Championships in a multitude of different sports on the square in the heart of Herning city centre, Danish Championships in a wide range of water sports at Fuglsang Lake, and a public celebration with sport at the centre throughout Herning Municipality.
Sport and public celebration
Herning has been awarded the hosting of DIF DM Week, among other reasons, because of the city’s ability and experience in combining major sporting activities with public celebration and entertainment in the city’s public spaces, as was the case with previous major events held in Herning, such as the World Men’s Handball Championship, the Ice Hockey World Championship, and the World Equestrian Championship.
