Crochet Workshop. Create Your Own Home Textiles

September 26, 2026 at 10.00 - September 27, 2026 at 17.00.
This crochet workshop runs over two days and focuses on creating functional home textiles in larger formats. Participants work on projects such as cushions, poufs, blankets, baskets and other textile items for the home.

The workshop is led by Helle Birkmose Winding and covers material understanding, techniques and design. Participants explore yarn qualities, structure, density and durability to create products that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

The workshop is open to all levels. Instruction is adapted to each participant, and there is time for individual work with guidance throughout. The programme alternates between group instruction and independent project work.

Throughout the weekend, participants develop their projects from initial idea and material selection to finishing and further development. They also receive patterns and methods to continue working after the workshop.

The programme includes teaching sessions, breaks and meals. Saturday focuses on introduction and workshop work, while Sunday centres on refinement, finishing and completion.

Instructor Helle Birkmose Winding is educated from the Textile Academy and has extensive experience in knitting and crochet. The teaching approach emphasises material understanding, clear communication and a supportive learning environment.
