Community Singing Talk with Hanne Askou

Join an evening dedicated to the joy of community singing as Hanne Askou visits Højhuset Kulturhotel.

Hanne Askou is a music communicator and professional violinist. As the regular host of the ODEON Singing Club in Odense, she leads large groups of enthusiastic singers through the rich tradition of Danish song. She now brings her passion for the Danish song heritage and the Folk High School Songbook to Herning.

The programme focuses on singing together, giving participants the opportunity to enjoy well-known songs from the Folk High School Songbook. The evening may follow a specific theme, but the main purpose is to celebrate music, togetherness and the uplifting experience of singing with others.

Before the singing session, guests can take part in a communal dinner in the dining hall at Højhuset Kulturhotel. It is a wonderful way to begin the evening before gathering around the music.

The event is open to anyone who enjoys music, singing and community spirit, whether they love to sing along or simply appreciate the atmosphere.
