Rikke Østergaard - extra show
Wednesday 18 October 2023 at 19.00.
Many of us know it. If you're with someone who's stressed, it's contagious. But conversely, if you're with a colleague who's in a good mood and motivated, it's just as contagious. In this enlightening talk at the MCH Herning Congress Centre, Rikke Østergaard, author of the book 'We had a party at work, but then Preben came', will give an introduction to the latest research on social intelligence and how we humans infect each other with our emotions and moods.
STRESS AND EMOTIONAL POLLUTION
Stress in the Danish workplace is a major topic of public debate, but in this lecture in Herning, Rikke Østergaard, a mental health expert, management consultant, sociologist and mindfulness expert, breaks down the common perception of stress. When there is stress in a company, it is much more often about a bad atmosphere at work than too much work pressure. In this talk, she will give useful tools to protect yourself from being infected by the stress and bad moods of others, to change your mood from negative to positive, both at work and in your private life, and to avoid emotional pollution at work.
Get to know yourself and your colleagues better when Rikke Østergaard visits the MCH Herning Congress Centre.
