Charlotte og Christina Bøving

Tuesday 18 April 2023 at 19.00.

'Till death do us part' is the title of this taboo free lecture, which deals with all the most important topics in life. TV doctor Charlotte Bøving, who has cancer, and her partner Christina Bøving will visit the MCH Herning Congress Centre with the big talk about life and death - and love in the midst of it all. They tackle topics such as dying with dignity, living with a diagnosis that puts everything into perspective, and how to find the right words for one of the biggest taboos in our modern lives.

The most important conversations can also be the most difficult, but here you'll find inspiration and help on how to approach them. The talk will offer new perspectives on 'life in death' and 'death in life', leaving room for smiles, laughter and celebration of life amidst the deadly seriousness.

The art of living - not just surviving.

In addition to living with a cancer diagnosis, the two women also have life's big questions close to their hearts professionally. Charlotte Bøving is a doctor and also known as a TV doctor in the DR programme 'Lægen movetter ind' and as host of the programme 'Jagten på Stilheden'. As a birth assistant and coach at every birth, Christina Bøving deals with the interplay between life and death, where everything can go well - or completely wrong. The lecture is based on the couple's forthcoming book entitled 'Til døden os parten - kunsten att leven og ikke mere survivve.'

The two women will share their views on how to live - and not just survive - when serious illness and death come close. For death can be years or just a second away. But daring to face fear, serious diagnosis or death takes courage and fortitude

Invite a good friend or a close family member to a moving and inspiring evening in the company of two women who want to defuse death and have chosen to live every day, even if everything has to end. You are sure to take a lot away from this evening.
