Heart is designed by Steven Holl - one of the world's leading architects.

Upon completion in 2009, Heart will house three institutions: The Herning Art Museum, the MidWest Ensemble and the Socle du Monde. Heart combines visual art, music and an international biennale.

Additionally, the group will visit the Carl-Henning Pedersen and Else Alfelt's museum of art. The museum has a major collection of art by artists of the CoBrA group.
